Product performance

Yellow or pale yellow crystals or powder. There is a strong hydrogen chloride odor. Smokes in moist air. Very hygroscopic. Dissolved in water while heating, and even explosion. Soluble in ether, chloroform, nitrobenzene, carbon disulfide and carbon tetrachloride, slightly soluble in benzene.

Scope of application

Organic reaction catalyst, strong dehydrating agent, used as catalyst for organic synthesis, detergent, and used in medicine, pesticide, dye, perfume, metallurgy, plastic, lubricating oil and other industries.

Packaging and storage

Aluminum trichloride is packed in 25kg or 50kg bags, the inner layer is plastic film, and the outer layer is woven bag. The product is stored in a cool, ventilated and dry warehouse.
